Perhaps you will wonder upon a bear or moose in the northwoods or listen to the call of the loon from nearby Chaney and Etna Lakes. Roast smores over the campfire or grill that day's catch on the grill.
This is a glamping experience. There is no running water and no electricity.
There are battery lanterns and lights inside the yurt with remote controls on the table. Every effort has been made to mitigate insects and critters from the yurt, but you are in the northwoods of the UP and it may be part of your rustic glamping experience. This is a neat property for someone or a couple looking for a unique adventure. The Yurt is about 350 feet through the forest from Chaney Lake road, so while remote, it is close to a main road, you will hear cars. It's also only about a mile or less from the public access of Chaney Lake so bring your boat! Bring your cooking gear if you plan to have meals at the site. Wash bins, a can opener, paper towel, and a bottle opener are provided. You will want to bring your water in.
