Positive: An excellent location and a fabulous house! A beautiful view out the window, including views of the water. Very spacious and well maintained. A lovely note left by the owners on our arrival and beautiful artworks in the house. Would definitely like to return.

Negative: I found Buxton to be completely over the top and annoying for what was only a 2 night stay. Multiple missed calls from them in the lead up about nothing, despite them having my credit card/ license details and having deducted the accommodation fee from my account. I also was not really expecting an additional $500 bond, deduction ahead of the arrival, which I still have not heard when I will be getting back! I think this is too much when you have all of my details and it is only a 2 night stay. It was also not mentioned on the listing on booking.com. Also I had to call them 25 minutes after the check in time to get the details to allow us to enter the property and I wouldn't say the person on the phone had a great manner about this.

Summary: excellent, would return. Only annoyed by bond and property management being over the top.
