Exposed wooden floors run throughout the first floor, where you can enjoy lovely views over rolling fields and open countryside of this working beef and sheep farm. Outside, there is a large enclosed garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture, ideal for dining al fresco, morning coffees and overall relaxing and enjoying the fresh air.

Situated evenly between the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Parks, this is a scenic haven. The nearby market town of Kirkby Stephen, 6 miles, has an abundance of independent shops, cafés and restaurants. It is also home to a Heritage railway station, where you can enjoy a lovely scenic trip on the historic Carlisle - Settle line. The market town of Kendal, 20 miles, is known as the ‘gateway to the southern Lake District’, and perfect to have a day on one of the famous Windermere cruises. Walkers can tackle the quieter Howgill Fells, a day on these tops can be considerably less busy but equally just as spectacular for views.
