Positive: Beautifully appointed and well equipped cottage, perfect for our three person short stay. We wanted to cook and found all the utensils and pans needed to facilitate. The tasteful lounge was great for relaxing afterwards, with the cosy breakfast bar and extremely comfortable beds ensuring a good night’s sleep made our stay very pleasant. We would unreservedly recommend this outstanding accommodation, central to Kirby Stephen with it’s shops and pubs and fabulous walks on the doorstep.

Negative: Some traffic noise was inevitable in the front bedroom (single glazed window) as we stayed Sunday to Tuesday, plus there were roadworks ongoing on the junction. However this did not prevent us sleeping well in the lovely spacious bed with luxury bed linen. There was nothing else we didn’t like.

Summary: Great location, very clean and well equipped cottage, perfect for a stay in Kirby Stephen.
