This delightful accommodation stands in a rural position within a 5 minute walk to the village of Uppermill at the heart of Saddleworth on the Yorkshire/Lancashire border. Greenfield train station is a five minute drive and has services to Manchester and Leeds. It is also located on the edge of Peak District national park. The house is a former church school built in 1862 which has been converted to provide characterful accommodation with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a shared courtyard.
The accommodation is spread over three floors and includes a double bedroom with luxury super king bed and a single bedroom with a shared jack and jill shower room upstairs. We also have a spare single pull out bed that will fit in the master bedroom or down stairs. The ground floor is comprised of a small but fully equipped kitchen and lounge-dinner, all of which has been modernised to include all creature comforts and is finished to a high standard. The lower ground floor has another bathroom and a utility area with washing machine. All cleaning products, laundry detergent and tea towels are provided in this area. There is also a door leading out onto a shared courtyard with a small seating area.
The accommodation is perfect to use as a base to explore the surrounding Pennine villages, attend the many local events and festivals or just relax and take in all the beautiful scenery.
The house is completely private with plenty of on street parking outside the front door, separate entrance and self check-in, so you can have as much privacy as you want.
