Overlooking the woodland and the owner’s garden area, there are glimpsing lake and fell views, and an abundance of visiting wildlife to look out for, including the osprey each spring, woodpeckers and red squirrels, just to name a few. A modern kitchen is just off from the living area, and has everything you need to make a hearty breakfast to start the day with. A comfortable bedroom, again with beautiful views from the window, will inspire you each day as you awake from a restful nights sleep. Outside, a small patio has a seating area overlooking the woodland and garden area, ideal to sit and enjoy the sounds of nature as you enjoy your morning cup of coffee.
Set in magnificent grounds of the owners property, it is just yards away from paths leading up to Whinlatter Forest, famous for its walking and mountain bike trails. To the front, is a quite lane leading down to the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake, and for the more adventurous, Skiddaw is a favourite of many walkers looking for the higher summit views. The nearby market town of Keswick is popular with visitors looking for cafés, bars and eateries, and speciality shops of every kind can be found too. Stay dry on rainy days as you catch a play at The Theatre By The Lake, or the latest film at the Alhambra Cinema. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
