A great location to explore the National Park and the Jurassic coastline from the North to the South: Saltburn, Staithes, Whitby, and Robin-Hoods-Bay are all within easy reach. A host of activities and adventure awaits visit: Helmsley Castle, Rievaulx Abbey, Pickering Castle, Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire Water Park, some of Britains oldest seaside towns and pretty moors villages.
Fantastic for cycling and walking there are routes for all abilities from our door. Close to the Esk Valley Walk path and St Hilda's Way walking route. We are lucky enough to be in one of the best places to see stars with the nearby Danby Lodge National Park Centre an official Dark Sky Discovery Site.
