The Space:
Between the stylish Regency town of Sidmouth and the Victorian resort of Budleigh Salterton in one of Devon's most beautiful coastal valleys is the picturesque village of Otterton. Otterton Mill, on the approach to the village is a working water mill, powered by the River Otter, around which has grown up a cafe serving good food, a gallery showing local arts and crafts, and a venue where popular music nights take place. Robin Cottage, at the end of the main street leading through the village is a Grade II listed, thatched property. This sweet cottage has masses of charm, you'll find a wood burning stove in the comfortable lounge and in the smart kitchen/diner a farmhouse style wooden table and chairs. A wooden, spiral staircase leads to the first floor and two attractive bedrooms, a double with views over the garden and a twin bedroom at the front of the cottage. The beach at Ladram Bay is only half a mile away, where pale grey shingle contrasts against the deep, rich, red cliffs and you can join the South Devon Coast Path.
