Lake living - expect beautiful sunrises - calm as glass water - eagles - loons - coyotes howling - ten thousand acres or more of Michigan state forest land less than 75 feet from the front door. Easy access to hundreds of miles of UTV and snowmobile trails. Grouse and deer everywhere along with an occasional bear.
Tie your kayak up to the 24 foot boat dock - grab a cup of coffee and head back out to the lake after breakfast there are 52 lakes to explore in this township alone along with many river tributaries that are a kayakers dream.
The home is cozy comfortable - it’s a 1950’s cottage or cabin that was updated and remodeled in 2009. I’m the second owner in the last 73 years. The cottage has been updated with granite countertops/maple hardwood and ceramic flooring. Power leather furniture - 55 inch tv with streaming. WiFi if you need it.
Large composite deck with patio furniture overlooking the lake which is only 20 yards to the waters edge.
Easy walk to lake - no hills - no steps - level slope.
Custom built Log bedroom sets in both bedrooms with super comfortable mattresses.
Every single piece of wood furniture or antler chandelier in the home is designed - hand crafted and carved by me or my father.
Pellet stove works great if you get a chill. Super easy to use and it heats the cottage up in no time at all.

Gwinn - 6 miles - groceries-gas-dollar general-ATMs bait - fishing tackle - beverages - wine - beer.
Up North Lodge - 3 miles - upscale restaurant with a good vibe and incredible atmosphere. Great food good people.
