Beautiful, quiet, clean, pet friendly cabin in the woods. 10 Acres of lovely birch trees surrounded by hundreds of acres of State land in Northern Michigan. 200 ft to snowmobile and ATV/ORV trails! 2 separate bedrooms, new beds and bedding. All dishes and small appliances such as coffee pot (coffee included), toaster, crock pot included for meals. All the comforts of home in a lovely cabin in the woods. 5 minutes to Starvation Lake. 40 minutes to Torch Lake and 45 minutes to Traverse City. There is a small lake down the road about a half mile from property, no houses just nature and fresh water. Dogs welcome with additional deposit. TV with several DVDS to use. No cable. Enjoy the outdoors with a picnic outside or fire at the fire pit. Fresh air free!! 2 King beds, 1 sleeper sofa queen, room for air mattresses of yours if needed. All Electric no generator. 2 Electric baseboard heaters so your arrival is not to cold! All regular indoor plumbing including washer and dryer. Of course Fridge, microwave and small oven. This home has only a pellet stove (very easy to use just plug in and fill) and a wood stove for heat ( wood provided). If renting in the winter months the home will take a couple hours to warm up. There is nothing like the smell of a fresh fire. For the summer months the cabin stays cool however two window air conditioners are in both bedrooms if needed. You will love your stay at this cute little cabin in the woods. 1 mile to "The Hideaway" restaurant and tavern. Drive right to trail on your sled from the Cabin only about 200 ft to trail right out the driveway turning left or right! We are in the snow belt we can not guarantee snow for your trip however, when no one else has snow usually WE DO!! The trails are groomed 24 hours and are great most of the season which can run through April!! The cabin is not just for snowmobilers its a great place to just relax and get away from it all with all the comforts of home. Summer months are excellent as well with a lovely setting and water just minutes away for swimming or boating. Excellent hiking in the summer months with marked walking paths. Children and dogs can run around freely with no worry of cars or traffic. Home sits off the road in the woods with plenty of space for tents as well if needed for extra guests. For winter months snow plow service arrives automatically after 6 inches of snow. 4 wheel drive/ AWD is suggested for winter months. Prices are slightly higher in winter months due to the price of snowplowing to maintain long driveway due to EXCELLENT snow conditions.
