A short walk will take you to miles of clean sugar sand beach and crystal clear water. Ducks, geese, herons and eagles are frequent visitors.
Downtown Marquette is 4 miles away. At the end of the driveway is the Iron Ore Heritage Trail/North Country Scenic Trail. It connects to other hiking and biking trail systems in Marquette. This is a non-motorized trail in the summer and snowmobile trail in the winter. Marquette Mountain (downhill skiing), and several cross country ski trails, including the Noquemanon trail network are within 10 miles.
