Recently refurbished from the ground up, this private cabin on the very edge of the city boundary feels completely private and surrounded by nature. Relax on your own private deck with your own garden and entrance to the green lanes. In front of you are rare views of Exeter city, behind you are a network of green lanes that lead you to open countryside. Take 15 minute walk to the beautiful village of Ide where there are a choice of pubs, or roll down the hill for 2 mins to the Historic Cowick barton Pub. Whist you are very much a part of the city, if you love nature you'll be right at home here.
Given the Cabin is only a few minutes from Junction 31 on the M5 motorway and the A30 and this makes it an ideal stop-over on the way to and from Cornwall, South or north Devon. Walk to the City Centre in only 25 minutes or cycle in 5. The Cabin is cosy, clean and no expense has been spared in recently refitting the kitchen, bathroom. Putting in finishing touches as we speak. Available to stay from August 2023 onwards. Discount available for first 3 guests.
There are two entrances: 1) Through our garage from the public street and up though a private path. 2) Your very own gate from the rear of the property. You are welcome to use either. The front entrance is great if you are parking on Cowick hill and want to bring your luggage in, the rear entrance is preferable if you want to feel completely private and enter and leave through the green lane.
There is a post office / shop at the bottom of the hill (1 min walk).
