2 Bedroom Cottage in Venus Bay

Chloe's Cottage is set in a quiet location, ideal for couples looking for a comfortable retreat. The main bedroom has a comfortable queen bed.

The second bedroom has two singles.

We have a kitchen / dining room, comfortable lounge with a wood fire, laundry, bathroom and separate WC. The kitchen windows open wide onto a large double deck which has a BBQ, outdoor table setting and four lounges.

If you are after 5 star and modern then Chloe's Cottage is NOT for you. If you want a relaxed comfortable cottage to call home, you have it.

We are located in a quiet position, only a 10 minute walk to the Venus Bay shops and a further 13 minute walk to Beach #1. Beach # 1 is a patrolled surf beach during summer weekends, public and school holidays.

The Venus bay shops consist of a small supermarket, Pharmacy, 2 Real Estate agencies, a wonderful Café/Restaurant named Cavity, Pizza shop, Fish 'n chips and an Ice-cream shop.

It is a 5 minute drive to Tarwin Lower which you pass when entering Venus Bay. Featured here is the Riverside Hotel which is great for a casual meal / music, Post office, Service station, Hardware store, Uniting church, IGA supermarket and a number of other businesses. The walk from Chloe's Cottage to Tarwin is a pleasant 40 minute stroll along the walking path.

LINEN:
Guests must bring their own sheets, pillowcases and both bath and beach towels. Tea towels, Doonas and pillows, oven mitts and bath mat are provided.

POOCH n PUSS
We had a small pooch, recently passed, and know that your four-legged member of the family also need a holiday. We therefore welcome them to join you but they must be respectful, obedient and fully trained. They are welcome to share the house but not the furniture. We must be aware of this at the time of booking.

THINGS TO DO:
Venus Bay sports some of the best surf beaches in Victoria and a vibrant fishing fraternity, both surf and river.

Wilsons Promontory is a comfortable 1 hour drive through picturesque countryside. There are many little villages eg: Koonwarra Village, Meeniyan and Fish Creek, scattered throughout the region with varying attractions. Farmers Markets, markets, walks, tours, museums to name a few.

Phillip Island is also 1 hours drive away and boasts the Fairy Penguin Colony and Koala / Kangaroo sanctuaries.

There are many excellent wineries in the area deserving of your patronage.
