The prime location of this recently remodeled home in the resort community of Macatawa makes it easy to relax and enjoy your vacation. The Cottage vacation rental is set on a spacious, well groomed lot overlooking the active Lake Macatawa Harbor. A small deck with a gas grill and large yard allow for a great cookout on the pleasant summer evenings and enjoying the waterfront and the harbor activity.
The Cottage is a historical bungalow style home in Macatawa. The founders of the marina (Jesiek Bros. Shipyard) built and began living in this home in 1935 and then, after selling the marina to Eldean Shpyard, the Eldean Family moved in to the home in 1973. The recent remodel, completed in 2022, brings a modern kitchen including an open concept that leads through the dining room, living room, and 4 season porch. It has all the comforts of home including a cozy kitchen fully equipped with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. The living room provides plenty of room to relax with windows and porch overlooking the water. The 4 bedrooms provide sleeping for up to 10. There is queen bedroom on the main floor. The 3 upstairs bedrooms include one with a king bed, one with a queen bed, and one bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds. Other features include 2 baths, 4 smart TV's, a washer and dryer, central air conditioning, a gas grill on the deck, and a single stall garage. There is a large yard to enjoy all of your lawn games. All linens and bath towels are provided. This is a non-smoking unit and pets are not allowed. Wi-fi internet is included. There are 6 steps up to the main floor from the garage, porch, and kitchen entry doors.
