Built in 1920, the cottage is quaint but with all the conveniences you would need. 3 bedrooms, full bath with shower over tub, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, large living room area, sun porch for morning coffee or evening cocktails, and an awesome outside area with patio, large deck, built-in fire pit, and gas grill for your enjoyment. New mattresses on all beds. Relax, enjoy family time and nature without the hustle and bustle of other commercial recreational areas. Washer and dryer on site with ample private parking for up to 4 vehicles.
Situated between Stony Lake and Lake Michigan public beach (the oval), it is walking distance to both. Beach towels and chairs provided. Boat dock available on Stony Lake (with prior arrangements) for your fishing boat, ski boat, or pontoon! Walk to Stony Lake Store, Stony Lake Inn restaurant and bar, park with playground and picnic area. Float or tube down the Stony Creek Channel from Stony Lake to Lake Michigan. Lots of activities within less than 10 miles including Silver Lake sand dunes and dune buggy rides, Lewis Farms market and petting zoo, Benona Shores Golf Course (2 mi), 3 other golf courses within 15 minutes, local wineries, Rainbow Ranch horseback riding, Double JJ Ranch with indoor water park, dining, and rodeos.
