A 2 bedroom cabin situated in the quiet and scenic Chamberlands neighborhood. One mile from Homewood Ski Resort, and 20 minutes to Squaw and Alpine Meadows, this is a newly renovated cabin purchased in February 2013. Furnishings are all new, comfortable and clean. There are 17 windows in the cabin so lots of natural light and views of surrounding trees. The downstairs features include open concept living space, gas fireplace, spacious kitchen with new appliances, and plenty of space around the table for playing games or enjoying meals.
Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with a twin over full bunk bed. The downstairs sofa is also a pull out sleeper.
The best thing about this place is the quiet, but if you need noise and entertainment there is a flat screen TV, home theater system, and WiFi. In the summer you can grab the shuttle or just walk 5 minutes to spend the day on the private beach, with restaurant and bar. We are also close to Sugar Pine State Park, which has great cross-country skiing or hiking. The West Shore has access for all of your winter and summer activities. Or avoid the crowds and come in spring or fall, a wonderful time to enjoy the quiet and scenic beauty of Tahoe. This is a perfect affordable rental for couples or a small family.
