This condo is an end unit which overlooks the Shanty Creek golf course and lake Bellaire. Enjoy modern décor, leather couches, a fully stocked kitchen (fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, hot water heater, microwave and toaster), all TVs are Amazon Fire so login to your prime account, and you’ll have access to Netflix, Youtube, Disney+ or any other streaming service you subscribe to.
Snuggle up next to a roaring wood fireplace (wood for sale at Family Fare or local farms) after you've enjoyed skiing/snowboarding at either Summit Mountain or Schuss Mountain. This resort also features cross-country skiing, alpine tubing, snowshoeing, fat tire biking and dog-sledding; please contact the resort directly for available ski times and weather conditions .
If pool sports are more your thing, this unit gives you access to a private outdoor pool in summer time, a huge outdoor pool at the Shanty Creek Lodge (also only in summertime), a large indoor pool open year-round at the Lakeview Lodge next to a soothing hot tub with room enough for all! Towels provided (not at the private pool)! Don't feel like smelling like chlorine? During summer your stay includes access to the private beach club which includes boat access, swimming, lawn chairs and children's play area, sandy beaches, kitchen, gas grills and more!
The master bedroom has a comfy king size bed, closet space to hang all your clothes, a full chest of drawers incase you're a heavy packer, and a TV wall-mounted perfectly to allow you to wind down your day, while not being the center point of the room.
The second bedroom features a queen size bed with a bunk above large enough to fit two small children or a teen (we ask that no adult sleeps on the second bunk as we have had to repair it due to weight issues). This room has ample closet space and both overhead lighting and ambient lamp lighting for those who like to stay up late and read in bed while the rest head off to dreamland.
We stock the bathroom with plenty of fluffy towels (bath, hand and washcloths), shampoo and conditioner, along with body wash and lotion. Additionally we supply you a hair dryer incase you need it and there's plenty of hot water to shower as long as you want :)
Feeling hungry? Why not stop by the world famous Shorts Brewery for a mouth watering pizza, sandwiches and more along with their world famous local brews, or take the brief 45 minute drive to Traverse City where foodies dreams come true. Drive the scenic route to all the beautiful wineries the Old Mission peninsula has to offer, enjoying world famous wines and breathtaking scenes. Or, if staying close to the resort sounds more like your cup of tea, watch the sun set with panoramic views from Summit Village's Lakeview restaurant, Cedar River Village's River Bistro, or go more casual at Schuss Village's Ivan's Cafe (a self serve skiers cafe.)
Don't forget that this condo is located on the only resort in Michigan to have two of its four golf courses featured in the Top 20 Ranked Public Courses! Get there by walking, driving yourself or accessing the resort wide shuttle that will go anywhere, not just the golf courses.
Still wanting to go further? Hike along the hundreds of local paths, head to Charlevoix for the best smoked whitefish and watch the boats, drive to Petoskey or Mackinac Island for the history and fudge--let's be honest, mostly the fudge--(both just a short drive/ride away), head to Alden for the spices, or the Sandy Bear Dunes for the adventure; you're going to have fun up north!

A few things to keep in mind:
Please keep in mind the wifi is free through the Shanty Creek Resort and is not handled by me, therefore if the resort is having an issue with accessibility or it is not showing up on your device for some reason, it is not within my control and is nothing I can fix. This area gets good reception for most popular U.S based carriers so even for the few times wifi is down, you should still have internet access on your phone and cell reception.
Parking is first come first serve, and the condo is only guaranteed one parking spot, so if you are coming as a group of people separately, please keep this in mind, or plan on parking at the resort and carpooling to the condo or walking (it is not even a 5 minute walk down hill from the resort) during these peak vacation times.
IMPORTANT NOTE: There is a stationary picnic grill located outside of the front door, so you can bring charcoal etc. and grill to your hearts content. However, other outdoor and portable grills are prohibited to bring to this property. If you violate this rule you will be asked to leave the property forfeiting your entire cost of staying and possibly charged additional fees for any damage or potential damage to the property. This is an extreme fire hazard in which past damage has occurred.
