Welcome to "Stash's Overlook-Inn", my Dad's dream that has become our slice of heaven in the heart of wine country in Pure Michigan!
All-sports 217-acre Bankson lake is known for kayaking, all-season fishing, stunning views, and abounding wildlife including nesting Bald Eagles. Being only 2 hours from Chicago and Detroit, less than one hour from Grand Rapids and the Lake Michigan shoreline, 20 minutes from downtown Kalamazoo breweries, and only a short drive to St. Julian and Warner's wineries, it's a perfect location to enjoy the best of both worlds of SW Michigan tourism and the peace and tranquility the area is known for.
You will find our home at the end of a private lake drive where you can enjoy whatever aspects of the water you prefer: public access for your watercraft that you can store at the dock during your stay, fishing from your boat or straight from the dock, kayaking, pedal-boating, or simply enjoying the gorgeous view straight from our large screened water-facing back porch.
