The Yorkshire Wolds are famous for the country pubs and market towns such as Driffield and Beverley, which have excellent market days, as well as being interesting towns to visit. For the those who enjoy the horse racing, Beverley Racecourse has some excellent meetings and you are only an hour away from the York meeting, one of the best racecourses in the country. The stately homes of Sledmere and Burton Agnes Hall are just a short drive away, both excellent places to visit with beautiful gardens and delightful cafès.
