The beaches in this area remain quiet, even during the busiest summer periods and are ideal for swimming, windsurfing, sailing, fishing and walking. For people who would like more entertainment, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton are close by and provide various themed attractions. Elmer is in an ideal location to explore many of the attractions of the south coast from bustling Brighton to the east, to historic Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight to the west. In between there are beautiful places such as Chichester with its ancient cathedral and Festival Theatre, quaint Arundel with its castle and antique shops, Goodwood and Fontwell race courses and the beautiful South Downs close by.
