Make your way up to the first floor to find a charming king-size bedroom and a lovely double, both with vaulted, beamed ceilings. A low mezzanine level in the double bedroom is home to a sofa bed. A family bathroom is also on this floor. Soak up the scenery from the beautiful, mature garden. Dine out here in the summer sun and play games with the children and any four-legged friends on the lawn.
Stroll less than 1 mile from the cottage to see historic White Castle. Raglan Castle, also worth visiting, is a 9.5-mile drive. Head into Abergavenny to potter in the shops and sample local produce in a friendly pub or cafe.
