One of the main attractions of this beautiful cottage is its location, the cottage is surrounded by hills and stunning scenery and has some stunning walks right from the doorstep. The local area boasts hills, rivers, lakes, waterfalls and even caves to explore so the walkers and cyclists in the group will be spoilt for choice. The area also has easy access to some of the Lakes most popular attractions, with Hawkshead, Coniston, Ambleside and Windermere all being easily accessible, so if you feet are tired or you prefer less energetic past times then, you can shop to you drop in the vast array of independent, gift shops, clothing and other shops in the local towns, or maybe you prefer to enjoy a wide range of tasty cuisine.
There is also a variety of museums and attractions available, or maybe learn more about Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter who called this area home and helped to inspire their writings and then finish of a day’s adventures with a drink in a traditional pub sampling one of the local brews.
