On arrival you may see the resident deer roaming freely, whilst on the horizon you can view the coastline and the sea. The lodge itself offers comfortable welcoming accommodation perfect for holidays. Visit the beautifully landscaped gardens at Sewerby Hall next door, as well as a small zoo and delightful café. Just a short drive away you have the dramatic natural ravine at Danes Dyke or the soaring chalk cliffs of Bempton with its RSPB wild bird centre, where you can view nesting puffins and gannets. Bridlington itself, with its historic harbour, is just a few minutes drive away. With a promenade, old town and a golden sandy beach to discover. There is also the historic fishing village of Flamborough with the iconic lighthouse perched up on the cliff tops and seal colonies below, whilst inland you have the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds. York, Hull, Scarborough and Beverley can all be reached in under an hour.
