Downstairs you have a large bedroom and wonderful bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. Heading upstairs to the lovely open plan kitchen and living room with an enchanting Juliet Balcony taking in the sweeping views over the fields beyond. The kitchen comes complete with everything you will need for your break, and the cosy living area is perfect for snuggling up in the evening, watching a movie on the Smart TV or binge watching a Netflix series.
From the cottage, you can walk for miles in every direction, with wonderful country pubs to be found en-route. A small well-behaved dog is welcome here and they will absolutely adore the myriad of trails to explore. The country town of Taunton is just 2 miles away where you will find a huge selection of shops, restaurants, and entertainment facilities as well as the museum and other sights to visit. The beaches of Minehead, Doniford, Lyme Regis and West Bay can be reached in under an hour’s drive. Just 20-minutes away, head to Bishops Lydeard and jump on the West Somerset Railway’s steam train, which chugs merrily through the countryside ending at Minehead beach, it’s a real step back in time that everyone can enjoy.
