Welcome to The Hideaway, a truly beautiful annexe, located on the owner’s equestrian farm but tucked away in its own private garden where you will truly relax and unwind. Inside, you are greeted by the open plan living room/bedroom, furnished to a very high standard with Smart TV, a comfortable sofa and a king-sized bed with top of the range, luxury cotton bedding to sink into. The open fire is the perfect complement to this room, just imagine lying in bed or cosying up on the sofa with the fire roaring and crackling away after a day out exploring..bliss!
Off the living room is a large shower room with heated towel rail, robes, and local toiletries to enjoy, head back into the living room and down a step to your kitchen/breakfast room, extremely well equipped with gas cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, and coffee machine as well as everything you will need during your stay.
Outside, The Hideaway has something extra special for you. On the first level you have a wonderful terrace with sun loungers, the ideal spot to relax and soak up the sunshine before heading up the steps to your private firepit area, complete with benches, wooden swinging chair, hammock, gas BBQ and exceptional views, at night this area truly comes into its own with twinkling lights, blankets and cushions to enjoy around the fire (please note there is an additional charge payable locally for firepit wood and a fabulous firepit pack with goodies to enjoy) There are many walks to enjoy from this area that will give you hours of fun exploring. Due to the steps in garden this property is not suitable for children or pets.
Located close to Shepton Mallet, handy for local supermarkets and the Bath & West Showground, yet the beautiful city of Wells with its cathedral, fabulous boutique stores, cafes and incredible local market is just 10 minutes away. The ancient Medieval town of Glastonbury is within easy reach with its eclectic stores and famous Tor as is the designer shopping outlet, Clarks Village, in Street.
