About a 20-minute walk away, at the other end of the village, you’ll find a train station taking you in to the nearby university town of Aberystwyth or up along the Welsh coastline where you can explore the beaches and castles steeped in Welsh history.
There are also excellent bus links into Aberystwyth, the historic market town of Machynlleth to the north or the pretty harbour towns of Aberaeron and New Quay to the south, where you might be lucky enough to see dolphins playing in the waters of Cardigan Bay.
