Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location is perfect if you want to avoid taking the car from the parking. It’s located in the Main Street with a short walk from cafes, restaurants and a small grocery shop just across the street. It is also very convenient for all trials starting or passing through Castleton. I highly recommend staying in this cottage if you come to Peak District by train or any public transport.

Negative: The only big inconvenience we had was that we were a group of 4 and stayed for 4 days, but there were only 1 roll of toilet paper for the entire stay (and no toilet paper is sold in the small grocery shop), so needed to go to another town to buy more, which disrupted our planning for the day. There is no parking available at the property and you need to pay for public parking (the nearest one is the parking from Peak Hotel and they charge 12£ per day).
