The site is undergoing a major refurbishment with a brand new bar and restaurant which is now open (Sunday lunch is a must).
The town of Appleby is a five minute drive away and has plenty of pubs, places to eat and shopping choices for the essentials.
The area also has some beautiful walks and things to see including Rutter Falls which is a five minute drive away.
