Walleye Point is our dream home! Set in the trees with beautiful lakefront access on Torch Lake just up from the Portage Canal. Enjoy lake living on the point with wildlife and convenient access to local activities. We're located 7 miles east of historic Houghton, Michigan across the Portage Lake Lift Bridge.
Modern amenities, cozy spaces, breathtaking views, and lake access will make your stay so enjoyable that you might find yourself wanting to stay.
The Space:
Our home is a split-level with three unique living spaces.
There are floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the home that highlight the beauty of the trees and lake views.
On the middle level (main floor), you will find the kitchen, dining, full bathroom, office/den with designated work spaces, and a our favorite sitting area overlooking the lower level & backyard/lake. Off of the dining room, you can access the deck that hosts a propane grill & outdoor sofa.
On the half level up from the main floor, you'll find one bedroom with a detached bathroom (master suite area) and an exercise room.
On the lower level, you will find two bedrooms, one bathroom, a sitting area with a fireplace & record player, a lounge with a widescreen TV & games, and the laundry room. This area walks out to the backyard.
From the backyard, you can follow the boardwalk down to Walleye Point. There are 2 decks here & outdoor seating for you to enjoy a full day at the lake!
Grab a cup of coffee & head down to catch a beautiful sunrise on the point. Bring a fishing pole in hopes for a big catch to grill for dinner - or just relax, watch wildlife, or take a swim. Wind down from all of the fun with an evening bonfire, cooking s’mores, & soaking in the sounds of evening lake life.
Guest access:
You'll have access to the entire home, except the garage & outbuilding at the point.

We share a driveway with our neighbors. We do not allow parties. Please be respectful of our neighbors & quiet hours.
