Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.
The home was designed around a woodland lodge + Americana theme. When you enter, you'll be greeted with a mudroom that opens up to an open concept kitchen, full bathroom, dining room, and living room that features a gorgeous fireplace. Adjoining that room, you'll see access to the deck, as well as the entrance to the Great Room; a truly unique space that's both outdoors and indoors.
The entire home is built around a one-of-a-kind wooden spiral staircase, that connects all three levels of the home. You'll feel as if you're ascending into the trees as you wind your way upwards, while looking out the massive windows that act as a wall adjacent the stairs.
The second level features the master bedroom, with attached ensuite bathroom, an entertainment room, as well as a dedicated workspace and desk.
The third level has two bedrooms, each featuring great views of the forest outside. Connecting the two bedrooms is a short hallway that has a shared full bathroom.
Guests will have access to all spaces, both inside and outside, with exception to the following: one mechanical closet [in first floor bathroom], one mechanical closet [in second floor hallway], one owner's closet on the second floor [in the ensuite bathroom], one unfinished space [up staircase above garage].

It's unlikely that you'll meet him in person, but he is always available via the STR platform app, text, or mobile and is quite responsive to inquiries.

The home is located in the hilly countryside, just south of Suttons Bay; directly adjacent to MAWBY Vineyards and Winery.
It lies at the end of a shared dirt road and is nestled in the woods at the top of a hill; our driveway is paved.
Please note: it is highly encouraged that guests have 4WD vehicles during inclement weather, or wet/cold months as the county roads can be treacherous
Guests will need their own form of transportation as the home resides in a rural location without access to public transportation; ride share services are not reliable in the area so please don't count on them for transportation.
The two bedrooms located on the third floor are 'loft style'; they do not have doors to the rooms. However, they do have privacy curtains that function to close off the rooms from the hallway.
