I absolutely love living here and can't wait to share it with you! I've lived in the region for 40 years plus and know the great secret hiking trails, off the beaten path attractions and shops and great new restaurants in town!
Amazing mountain views from every angle on the deck and every window. Abundant wildlife - for sure deer, but bear and if you're up late at night or early in the morning you might catch a mountain lion!
Pet friendly with a small yard for quick "let-outs" and a little over an acre of property to run. Hiking trails within walking distance....and dozens of others within just a few miles!
Fully equipped with everything you need to grab a quick snack or make a full-on holiday dinner for the family. Locally mined stone is the central feature of the beautiful fireplace in the common area - see if you can find the "Heart Rock" the house is named for!
Bright, open, airy space with lots of natural light. Super comfy beds and high-speed, highly reliable Xfinity internet ready for any streaming channels as well as an antenna for local digital channels. Game room with foosball and air hockey for the kids - or grown-up competitors in your group.
The dining area features a table for six, illuminated by two windows that offer lovely views. There's also a dedicated coffee and tea station for lovers of tasty brewed drinks.
Adjacent to the dining area is the airy, sunny kitchen with a cozy breakfast nook table for two by the window. The kitchen is well-designed with plenty of counter space, cabinets, and fully stocked with the cookware, servingware, cutlery, kitchen tools. Our kitchen has a full-size range, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. We also provide high quality dish soap, dishwasher detergent pods, ground coffee, creamer, a variety of teas, honey, sugar, salt, pepper, and olive oil.
Two bedrooms and one bathroom on the upper level, one with a king-sized bed and the other with a queen-sized bed. The bathroom has a combination tub/shower and a sink vanity with storage.
The lower level boasts a full bathroom with a tub and shower as well as the third bedroom with its own HD smart TV, king-sized bed, dresser, two closets, and a ceiling fan for added comfort.
Each bedroom has its own ceiling fan and box fan for summer comfort. This is Colorado so we don't have A/C - the house is SUPER cool (and can even be chilly) in the summer evenings and mornings.

Our front deck and porch are perfectly situated to capture the maximum amount of sun. This is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or to visit with friends and family while enjoying the Rocky Mountain air and plentiful sunshine.
The area teems with wildlife. Mule deer, coyotes, rabbits, foxes, racoons, and even bears are common to see around the property. (Please be respectful of the wildlife!)
