Summary: The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, there is a car park however the train station is only a 5 minute walk away for those who do not drive. It’s in a good location with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby, however it does have its own bar and restaurant and the food is nice. We didn’t have time for breakfast so I cannot really comment on it however I would have thought it would be nice. There weren’t any net curtains or blinds in the room only heavy curtains, therefore in the morning for privacy we were unable to open the curtains to let daylight in until we were fully clothed. I would suggest they invest in net curtains or blinds for people’s privacy. The bath also had a chip in it, l wouldn’t expect them to install a new bath however maybe they would get something to fill it. The room had all the necessities apart from an iron and ironing board, however when I asked at reception they provided one straight away. The person who checked us in wasn’t overly friendly but they were professional and accommodating when we asked for an extra room. Overall we had a good stay and would stay again and would make sure we had enough time to have breakfast!
