The multi-unit resort consists of 13 unique, quaint & simple cottages all built in the 1920's, a spacious 3,250 sq ft main house as well as a separate 1 bedroom apartment all nestled on 5 private acres with 350' Duck Lake frontage and 600' on Mason Creek (a registered trout stream), Brookside is truly a piece of heaven on earth and you are only minutes from downtown Traverse City, Interlochen Arts Academy, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Lake Michigan and area attractions. "The Big House", as it is know to our repeat guests, sleeps 14 people in it's 3,250 square feet with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Oversized 2 car garage with driveway parking for 2 additional vehicles. Main level layout includes: Queen ensuite bedroom, King bedroom, King bedroom, Queen sleeper sofa in living room,2 full bathrooms, Large entry/mudroom/laundry room. Open concept kitchen/dining/living with cultured stone fireplace. 2 large sliding doors that lead outside to a large deck with propane gas grill & seating. The deck overlooks the pool area. Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances including electric range, microwave, side by side refrigerator, dishwasher, single cup coffee maker & 12 cup coffee maker, cookware, dishes, cutlery and utensils. Dining nook table seats 4, dining table seats 6, plus 2 counter stools at the breakfast bar and a 2 person "cafe table. The upstairs layout includes a Queen bedroom, a Full over Full bunk bedroom w/pull-out Twin trundle, a Queen sleeper sofa in the living room,1 full bathroom. Kitchen with refrigerator, range, microwave, coffee maker, cookware, dishes, cutlery, and utensils Upstairs dining table seats 5. 50" flat-screen cable TV. Sliding door that leads out to the upper deck w/ seating. Bed linens and bath towels are included. Guests bring beach towels. House is heated and has window AC units. Resort amenities are shared amongst all guests staying on property. Water trampoline, heated in-ground pool, hot tub, playground, horseshoe pits, hammocks, basketball court, fish cleaning house. Guests have free access to kayaks, paddleboats, rowboats & paddleboards during their stay! There is also a newly renovated recreation room with ping pong, pool table, foosball, air hockey, cable tv & wifi.
