Positive: The lodge is like a tardis. Once your in through the front door you’ll be wowed by the internal dimensions. It’s huge. Two bathrooms. Essential. The log burning stove is a furnace. Brilliant. Plenty of hot water and great pressure for a good shower. Fast internet and smart tv.

Negative: The mattress topper on the bed. Not a great night’s sleep. Could be a bit cleaner. The electric radiators make a beeping noise as they heat up/cool down. But provide great heat, it’s a trade off.

Summary: Possibly The Best West Cumbrian Accomodation
