STATED GROUP SIZE: Bookings are accepted on the group size & configuration stated at the time of booking. Any changes to this would require permission. Lower Mill Estate is a gated and warden controlled private estate and we provide the Estate with all guest group sizes and group dynamics prior to arrival, which are confirmed at the time of booking.
DAY VISITORS: Day visitors to the Property may be permitted with our prior consent, at our discretion, provided that the total group (including visitors) does not exceed the maximum occupancy of the Property.
SPA ACCESS: All but a 4 minute walk to the Luxury Spa complex, of which you get full rental access during your stay, allowing you and your family and friends to use the indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Outdoor pools are closed during the low season.
SOMERFORD NINES: The Nines pool is closed during the off peak winter months after October Half Term (open Xmas/NY weeks). The Somerford Nines facility is shared with 8 x other properties, and is available to residents staying within Somerford Nines ONLY and not with the wider Estate. The heated indoor pool at the Luxury Spa is open all year round and is just a few minutes walk from the SomerfordNinescomplex.
NATURE FIRST: Lower Mill Estate is a nature first environment and we are all guests of nature. As such, things like certain lakes being closed in off season for nesting, low level lighting at night, reeds being left to grow to full height, is part of managing the unique environment and eco system.
PARKING: Each property on the Estate has one designated parking space within a few yards of their front door. Yours is within the gated community of the Somerford Nines where there are also a number of visitor parking spaces available with further spaces available on the Estate overflow car parks.
TRAVEL COT OPTION: We are unable to supply bedding or a mattress thicker than the ‘wrap around base’ that the travel cot comes with. For your reference, the approx. size of a standard travel cot is 60-65cm x 95-100cm.
BBQs: Due to insurance restrictions & potential health & safety compliance issues, we have removed BBQs from each property. Therefore, please remember to pack your own, or alternatively purchase a disposable BBQ for alfresco cooking.
LAKE SAFETY: The garden/decking areas could be open to the water, so additional care must be taken at all times.
