Nestled in the rolling dunes of Michiana with incredible views of Lake Michigan at every turn, this waterfront home is sure to please with its artful blend of classic, vintage, and contemporary style. This lakefront property includes both a five-bedroom main house and a one-bedroom guest house, creating an ideal space for an extended family vacation or a reunion with friends. You'll have access to beautiful outdoor entertainment areas that include a heated swimming pool in a spacious courtyard with wide-plank decking, an expansive screened porch, multiple terraced stone patios with views that can reach all the way to the Chicago skyline, and access to a private beach down a flight of stairs.
Pass through a grand entryway to enter the main house, where you'll be greeted by a spacious custom kitchen with vintage-style cabinets, top-of-the-line appliances, reclaimed architectural elements, a center island with seating for four, and a high-top breakfast bar with seating for three. Adjoining the kitchen is an oversize dining area with a large wood table that seats up to 12 guests, plus a serving bar featuring an under-counter wine fridge and an additional beverage fridge. The generous living space invites you to relax by the marble gas-start fireplace and enjoy the stunning lake view through wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows. Off the entryway is a separate wing with a kitchenette, a large living area with plenty of seating around a TV, and a king bedroom with an en suite bathroom that features a gorgeous stone step-in shower. A powder room, laundry room, and outdoor shower are also on the main floor.
Upstairs, you'll find three bedrooms, including the luxurious primary suite with a king bed, an en suite bathroom that includes a step-in shower and free-standing oval tub, and a balcony where you are able to bask in the fresh breeze of Lake Michigan. A second bedroom hosts a king bed, a beautiful gas fireplace, and a walk-out deck with expansive lake views. This bedroom shares a hall bathroom with the third bedroom. It hosts two sets of twin bunks, a twin trundle bed, and a queen bed - a perfect space for children to play games, color, or read one of the many children's books located in the adjacent seating area (this home ideally sleeps ten adults and six children).
The lower level has an extra family media room with a huge sectional sofa and a mounted TV, a bedroom with a queen bed, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, plus a home gym and foosball table. The separate guest house comes complete with an eat-in kitchenette, a living area, and a bedroom hosting a queen bed and an en suite bathroom. Fall days are complete with pumpkin patches, apple picking, local pickleball courts, golf, biking, and hiking, plus local wineries and breweries abound, and then return to your beautiful lakefront home and enjoy a warm pool, fireplace, and firepit to watch great sunsets over Lake Michigan.
