Positive: This property could be a 10 - it’s specialist, clean and a great location.

Negative: Our stay was in the middle of London winter. On the first night it was discovered the heating was not working. We are a family of five. The apartment got to 10 degrees overnight. My husband and two sons did not sleep as the bedding was very light on. I reported the problem first thing in the morning. The person I spoke to said a plumber would be called as there was an issue with the boiler. From here on I battled for days and days to get the heating fixed. The plumber took so many days to come. Much of this is recorded in booking.com chats. I begged for portable heaters to be delivered but was given the run around about needing approval from the owners and that they had no portable heaters available. I begged to escalate the problem but was told there was no one to escalate to. I was asked to go out and buy proper bedding - seriously!!! Lug around bedding on the tube. In the end, we purchased some portable heaters ourselves. We found a portable heater at the property and we purchased the same ones. Not the kind of heater you could leave on over night but enough to get through. We were reimbursed - so that was a positive. However the time spent on this problem was such a waste of our holiday and the patronising style of customer service did not help. The other issue is the lift has not worked in months and this property is up many flights of stairs - so good luck.

Summary: As I said earlier this property could be a 10 - such a great space - but the management of it is a disaster.
