The Upper peninsula is a popular area to visit, starting with your trip over the Mackinaw Bridge. 2 hours from the bridge are the Soo Locks and Canadian border. Traverse City is approximately 2 hours Southwest by car. Traverse City airport allows for more choices of airlines and flights.
