Secluded Pet-Friendly Family Home near Lake Michigan: Property ID # 400240 - 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 8. Sleeping Arrangements: Upstairs lofted bedroom has a queen bed with connected en suite. The main level bedroom has a queen bed with the other full bathroom just next door. The lower level features 2nd living space with a queen over queen bunk bed. Please note maximum occupancy is 8 guests but due to weight restrictions on bunk beds, no more than 6 adults would fit in the beds.
You'll fall in love with this quiet getaway from the moment you pull in to the driveway. Nestled in Manistee's abundant forests, this home-away-from-home has everything you need for a quick getaway or extended family vacation.
Be sure to enjoy the deck, fire pit and large yard. The rental is pet-friendly! Feel free to bring your furry friend. We simply ask that you include your pet when booking and pick up after it during your stay. There is an additional $15/night pet fee which will be added to the stay.
AMENITIES INCLUDE: central air, washer and dryer, charcoal grill, foosball table, deck, fire pit. WIFI with smart TV's to stream is included, along with 80+ cable channels via Xumo Play. Large-screen TVs in both upstairs and downstairs living areas. Note the wood stove is not available for guest use. Heated garage is included with beach toys, foosball table and grill.
The kitchen is fully stocked for everyday meal prep. Dishes, pots and pans, silverware, glass, etc. and a standard drip coffee maker are available for guest use. Additional kitchen items include microwave, ice maker and toaster. Also included: bed linens, bath towels, basic cleaning supplies, and soaps (not personal soaps), and a starter set of paper products.
LOCATION: The home is a short distance from Lake Michigan's sugar sand beaches, with the nearest public access only 5 minutes away. The City of Manistee right nearby with plenty of shopping, groceries, bars and restaurants. Home is about an hour from Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes.

Check in time is after 4:00PM and check out time is before 10:00AM. Please note that we are not able to accommodate early arrivals or late departures from May – September. Any request for additional time will depend on availability of the rental and an additional fee may be added to the stay.
ARRIVAL: There is no formal check-in procedure. Arrival details are sent prior to your check-in date and will include the exact location of the property, parking and entry information. Guests will have a private, secure entrance and the rental is not shared by owners or other guests.
DEPARTURE: We do have a very short checklist we ask renters follow upon departure. It includes making sure the property is left tidy, furniture is in the same place you found it, everything is closed, locked and turned off, and the thermostat is set properly. These items will only take a couple of minutes but help staff immensely.
Please know that all rental policies and house rules are strictly enforced. This includes occupancy limits, age requirements, the ‘no parties’ and ‘no smoking’ clauses or any other rule posted online or within the rental. These are often defined by local ordinances, Homeowner’s Associations or other legal requirements and can result in fines or eviction if violated. We do not provide additional refunds for cancellations, late arrivals or early departures except as required in the posted cancellation policy.
