Positive: Beautiful and very tranquil setting on a hill over looking Verona The gardens are immaculately maintained. The outdoor pool is warm and well kept The staff are very helpful and courteous. There is a free shuttle bus into Verona that runs at 11:00 and 19:00 and does the return trip back to the hotel after a 20 minute wait. If you have no mobility issues you can walk in to Verona in under 15 minutes. The path is paved but is steep in some sections. Uber operates in the city Dinner menu is good.

Negative: The breakfast was a little limited without much fresh fruit. Fresh pancakes are available on request as are cooked eggs - though not a full cooked breakfast, nor porridge. Free bottled water in the room is not replaced daily which is disappointing given the cost of the stay.
