Surrounded by the splendour of Exmoor and with magnificent coastal scenery within walking distance this Area of Outstanding Natural beauty is an ideal base for those wishing to explore the area by foot, horseback, bicycle or car with famous beauty spots including Watersmeet, The Valley of the Rock, The Doone Valley and the picturesque harbour village of Lynmouth all easily accessible. All the amenities of Lynton and its twin village of Lynmouth(joined by road, pathway or famous water powered cliff railway) are closeby including a choice of individual shops pubs, cafes, restaurants, tennis, bowling and small cinema.
