Lovely farmhouse in thriving Three Oaks, Michigan. Three bedrooms, two with queen beds and the third is a great kids room with four twin beds. Open floor plan eat in kitchen, large island and screened in porch off the dining space. Large multi-level deck connects to the 30' heated pool. Six acres of space for the kids and adults to run and roam (or use the golf cart if you prefer). Plenty of space in the barn to store bicycles and other items. Pool is heated and open Memorial Day thru late September.
We renovated this home for our large family of six to be able to spend time together, away from the routine. We have loved spending time in Southwest Michigan and are excited to share our home with others. The house has an open concept kitchen, living and dining space. The dining space opens to the screened in porch overlooking the deck space and heated pool. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need for cooking and baking. Kitchen also has a coffee pot with option for single -serve pods or a whole pot. Kitchen island seats 6 comfortably.
We purposely do not have wifi in the home (to decrease kids' and adults' screen time), however do have a 55" smart tv that we are easily able to use with a hotspot to watch movies or television.
Two bedrooms feature queen beds, one with an additional toddler bed. Bunk room has twin bunk beds, twin bed and a twin trundle. Sliding doors open to the screened in porch and multi-level deck which surrounds the pool. The home has a mudroom off the deck with a full-size bath and washer and dryer for quick run-ins from the pool/outdoor space. The firepit and the front deck are the best spots for meteor and star gazing at night.
The home is located 2 miles from Union Pier, 3 miles from New Buffalo, Three Oaks and Lakeside. We are a 10 mintue drive to Sawyer. All wonderful, quaint towns with some of the best dining and shopping in Harbor County. We are also 4 miles from the Four Winds Casino.
With minimal traffic on the the country roads, the area is easily navigated by walking or biking. Three Oaks is a perfect home-base to take in all of Southwest Michigan.
