This stunning cottage is ideal for a getaway from everyday life with all the features you would expect from a traditional cottage with the convenience of modern comforts and amenities.
Entering the cottage from the rear through the pretty courtyard garden and straight into the kitchen dining area with polished wooden flooring and traditionally built kitchen units. All modern conveniences have been installed to make self catering for your stay as easy as possible including Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, fridge freezer, a microwave with airfryer included, the stove is a gas Aga and hob. There is also a washer drier and an iron and ironing board. There is a scrubbed top dining table with plenty of seating for 6 guests. The room is filled with curiosities the hosts have collected for the house.
In the sitting room there is a log burner which guests are welcome to use, logs are available from the store just a moments walk away. The hosts have provided Sky TV and the television is a smart TV. The room has lovely comfortable sofas and low ceilings.
There is also a ground floor WC.
On the first floor there are three bedrooms and the bathroom. The master bedroom is incredibly cosy with a king size bed, large built-in wardrobes and Sky TV. To the front of the cottage is there is a double room looking out towards the stream and to the side there is a single room with a trundle bed which can be made into to double upon request.
Outside the walled courtyard garden is very private and has outdoor seating for 6 guests so you can enjoy an evening glass of wine in the sunshine. There is parking available for 1 car on the driveway and there is parking for one car to the side of the cottage though this isn't allocated.
A stay here really would be a treat for anyone.
Paradise Cottage sits to the north side of Westbourne and just a short level walk to the village centre. The village itself is incredibly pretty with lovely walks into the surrounding countryside and along the river to the nearby harbour town of Emsworth. Westbourne has its own bakery and some lovely pubs as well as a great chip shop and convenience stores. The nearby town of Emsworth boasts an array of independent pubs, restaurants and shops together with scenic walks along the sea wall to the beach.
Being on the Sussex Hampshire border you can easily explore Chichester with the Cathedral and walks around the Roman Walls or Portsmouth with Gunwarf Quays outlet shopping or The Historic Dockyard, both of which can be reached by local bus and rail links. Access to Goodwood is very quick for the world famous events including The Festival of Speed, Glorious Goodwood and The Revival.
