The house is on a corner lot with a separate entrance, parking area and lawn for complete privacy. Located in the peaceful neighborhood of Celery Pond and across from the Tot Lot family park/playground. There is a ravine on one side and a wooded property across the street. JUNE 2023 UPDATES: We just completed the large project of replacing all the siding, doors and windows on the house and garage! The house is now blue.
Our home is simply and nicely furnished, freshly painted, extremely clean and ready for you and your family. There is no clutter so you have all the room you need to vacation and make it your own.

The 2 bedrooms feature queen size beds, new linens and deluxe mattresses, and large dressers with mirrors. There is plenty of room for unpacking, including a large walk-in closet in the Master bedroom. The walk-in closet is large enough to use as as extra sleeping space for an air mattress.
The spacious bathroom has a full tub and plenty of storage room for your personal items.
The kitchen is fully-stocked and nicely finished with stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher) and a butchers block / island for additional counter space! The large pantry will accommodate all of your groceries. We have cooked for as many as 20! The dining table seats 7 comfortably and you can squeeze in more.
There is a large, comfortable leather sectional sofa situated in front of a 47” flat screen high definition Smart TV with full HD cable package. High-speed WIFI cable connection for your use as well. You will also find a bookshelf with books, puzzles and games for your enjoyment.
The laundry room/mudroom is equipped with a full-size washer and dryer and plenty of hooks and shelves for your coats, beach gear, etc. very handy for a week's vacation!
There is a large patio area with an outdoor dining set, a Weber grill (charcoal and charcoal chimney included), and a great hammock to enjoy an afternoon nap in the shade! Brand new fire pit with firewood included at no extra charge near the rear of the property.
You are a short walk to all the shops and restaurants that make South Haven a great beach town. There are many public beach accesses and parks on the famous North Beach within easy walking distance. If you enjoy biking, hiking or just taking a stroll in the woods, the Kal-Haven trail head is only 2 blocks away. There are two public boat launches just around the corner. There are plenty of activities in the Fall and Winter as well! Fall colors and pumpkin patches, apple picking and winery touring. Cross-country skiing on Kal-Haven trail or downhill ski at Bittersweet. Come for Ice Breaker Festival in the winter and the chili-cookoff!
If you have a larger group, consider renting our upper unit as well for a total of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 TV rooms!
Summer Reservations: we do not allow a 1-night opening between reservations during the summer (Memorial Day thru Labor Day). When booking a reservation during this time, please ensure that you are not leaving just one night either directly before or after your reservation open (if you are booking directly before or after another group). If this does happen, we will work with you to adjust your reservation accordingly.
