Summary: Location is great for the NEC, but the parking situation is abysmal and stressful. You get 10 minutes outside to drop off your bags (which with kids and a few cases is literally impossible to check in and get bags upstairs) so I'm expecting an £80 fine any day now. Then you have to drive to a remote, unattended car park to leave the car overnight and pay £12 for the privilege. Then you need to walk 10 minutes back to the hotel along a quiet lakeside path. We weren't offered a cocktail/mocktail at check-in as advertised (we were a bit busy to be fair, but at another Moxy they offered for us to come get it later). The bar area was great though and the staff were all very friendly. Maybe if we'd been using the NEC the benefits would've outweighed the drawbacks.
