The DuneWood is set on 10 acres of tall, densely-wooded sand dunes that surround the house. A short walk to Lake Michigan to splash in the cool water or to take in the sunsets on Big Blue. Located on a major bike route, only 1mile from the bike trail that connects South Haven with Kalamazoo. Only a 10 minute drive to downtown South Haven and5 minutes to the Van Buren State Park. With all our properties, we offer many acres, giving our guests the privacy they desire, and still being close to everything that SW Michigan has to offer.
**Brand new in early 2022, the DuneWood is now wired with fiberoptic cable, crazy fast internet to our guests. Clocking in at over 100 Mbps, both download and upload, your streaming internet needs shall not be buffered.
Great for families or larger groups, the house comfortably sleeps 10 and has plenty of room to spread out, including in and outdoor entertaining, 2 screened porches, and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows. The lower level bunk room and big-screen tv room with walkout to a screen porch will be a favorite for kids. The open floor plan upstairs is perfect for gatherings. The dining room easily seats 10.
Try your hand at a game of pool, foosball, or AirHockey in the game room/"cave". This room is a huge favorite of our guests.
The outdoor grilling terrace is only steps fromthe kitchen overlookingthe woods. All of the outdoor spaces have seating in which to lounge and relax.
Sit back and listen to the wind rustle the tall oaks and watch the hemlock shimmy in the breeze. Stay long enough and you will see wild turkey, deer, and fox visit the back yard.
