When checking in, the staff member giving us our key card claimed we hadn't paid, even though the payment was visible on their system – we had to waste time showing proof anyway. Every time we asked for help, we rarely got a direct response, with the only exceptions being some of the cleaners. To make matters worse, one cleaner opened our room door without knocking or speaking – we could have easily been undressed, which was incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional. Overall, it's a mixed bag: the hotel itself is nice, but the staff treatment and lack of basic protocol made our stay far less enjoyable than it should have been.
