Positive: The St.Ives View room at Meadowview Cottage was a superior, ensuite room. The entire property was exceptional. The owner was friendly and explained everything at arrival.The free Wi-Fi was sufficient for our needs. The TV was a good size. The tea and coffee supplied was more than sufficient; it was great to have a proper size kettle. The ensuite shower room was modern and fully tiled and the towels were soft and generously sized. The complimentary continental breakfast was excellent. We'd never booked a homestay before but will definitely consider it as an option when we're next travelling.

Negative: The shower had no shelf or basket to put our shower gels and shampoos so these had to be put on the floor of the shower cubicle, which was a generous size. As bending is difficult for me this was the only, tiny issue.

Summary: Exceeded all our expectations
