Positive: An excellent lodge, very clean and super warm and cosy. Plenty of space for us and our dog. The garden is secure as is the decking area, so we could leave the doors open and let our dog come and go as it pleased. 3 good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds and a good amount of wardrobe and drawer space. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to eat in, round the good sized dining table. The airforce pump provided plenty of warmth via the underfloor heating. And having individual room thermostats meant we could adjust the temperature. We didn't need to use the log burner at all, despite nighttime frosts. The lodge is in a great location for exploring all parts of Cornwall. The northern coast providing some fantastic beaches - check for dog friendly beaches depending on the time of year. The site is spacious, with room between the lodges, space ro walk dogs, on leads and a couple of pretty fishing lakes.

Negative: The lodge is adjacent to the A39, so there was some traffic noise. At the time of year we were there we could comfortably sleep with the windows closed, so didn't really suffer from too much noise.
