Positive: A great location for fishing and relaxing. Even at the winter temperatures, the lodge was toasty hot once the log burner was lit. The kitchen and dining area was perfect and the beds were really comfy. I can imagine in better weather that fishing here would be an experience and a haven for seasoned anglers..

Negative: I think the welcome pack, emails and instructions could be less negative (don’t do this, can’t do that, it’s forbidden to…etc) and more friendly! A log pack or even a few logs should be provided on arrival because if you don’t bring any, you’ll have to drive out again to purchase some or freeze! The ducks can be a bit annoying when fishing or not so if you don’t like birds, this isn’t for you. And one last thing, scourers or a cloth should be provided as washing up liquid IS provided.

Summary: A very nice stay if you want to relax and unwind.
